Who this covers
This policy covers Brevard Plumbing (“we”, “us”), a booking and referral service operated by Hively Automation LLC, and this website. We connect Brevard County, Florida homeowners and businesses with independent, state-licensed plumbing contractors. We are not a plumbing contractor and we do not perform plumbing work.
What we collect
Only what you type, plus ordinary site measurement. When you book a plumber we collect your name, phone number, city, email address if you give us one, the service you asked for, and any notes you write, along with the page you sent it from. This site also counts page views for its own reporting — the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your screen size and browser language, and a random visit id we store in your browser so two views from the same visit are not counted as two people. Our web host records ordinary server logs, including IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the site.
What we do NOT do
We do not run Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags, the Meta pixel, session recording, or any third-party tracker on this site. We do not sell personal information. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not follow you across other websites. There is no cookie consent banner here because there is nothing to consent to — the site sets no tracking cookies and loads no advertising tag.
Why we use it, and who receives it
Your request exists to be passed on: we share the details you submit with the independent licensed plumbing contractor assigned to your job so they can contact you, quote the work, and do it. That is the point of the service and the main thing that happens to your information. Beyond that, only the service providers who make the site run — our website host, the technology provider that runs this site’s forms and reporting for us, our email provider, and our phone and text messaging provider — and only so they can deliver those services to us. The typefaces on this site are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google in the ordinary way any web font is loaded. We also share information where the law requires it. That is the entire list.
Calls and texts
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we and the assigned contractor may call and text you about your request — including by automated dialing systems and prerecorded or artificial (AI) voice. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile number, your opt-in, and any text-message consent data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Sharing your request with the contractor assigned to it is how the service works and is not marketing by a third party.
Photos you send us
If you send photos of the problem, we and the assigned contractor use them to understand the job. We will not publish a photo of your property without asking you first. If you would like a photo deleted, tell us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
Booking requests and their outcomes are kept for as long as we may need them for the service, our accounts, and our records. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the booking form on this site and say it is a privacy question, or write to us via the contact page. We will need to confirm who you are before we act on the request. You can also clear this site’s stored visit id at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.
Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this site does not track visitors across websites in the first place, we take no separate action when we receive one.
Children
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
